Description
The vacuum (negative pressure) is generated by use of a direct drive between engine and vacuum pump. The main body of the ELiTE Vacuum pipe lifter serves as a 137 litre vacuum reservoir/ tank. This model is equipped with standard (flash) signal warning lights indicating the vacuum level, machines operational status and when it is safe to lift. Additionally this is accompanied with acoustic alarms for the same. A large vacuum pressure gauge situated clearly in the middle of the unit indicates the vacuum level for the operator and others. The suction and release modes are activated by the operator by means of a Cable remote control (CRC). (Radio remote control (RRC) can also be supplied against additional costs. The vacuum pump is fitted with the first of 2 check values, the second being mounted as an individual component on the main unit. A magnetic solenoid valve is also fitted to the main unit, the valve is always in an open position when without a power pulse (electrical flow). This guarantees that should an engine failure occur during operational working, the vacuum reservoir of 137 ltrs will remain open to the suction pad and pipe surface. This important safety feature prevents a pipe from being dropped in the unlikely event of power source or vacuum pump failure during the lifting task.Attachment
Full range of suction pads to suit both steel and PE are avaiable for pipe diamaters from 100mm to 1200mm.We can also provide the unit with a hydraulic rotator and excavator multi hitch or a crane attachment bolted on as a pad eye.We also carry a full range of spare parts to cover all our models with parts and hire equipment located both in Brisbane and Melbourne.
