Vacuum Excavation
Vacuum excavation is an intrinsically safe excavation method. Our vehicles use pressurised water to cleanly cut through the ground and loosen the earth, simultaneously vacuuming the dirt and soil. It is particularly effective for locating existing underground utilities. The underground utilities are safely exposed without damaging the protective coatings of pipes and cables. This non-destructive digging process is fast and eliminates the risk of damaging underground services.
Using traditional heavy excavation machinery, such as an excavator bucket or shovel, can be extremely costly given the high potential of breaking underground facilities.
Excavating the exact depth and breadth of the area minimises disruption to the environment. This method of excavation can be used for service locating, tunnelling, potholing, landscaping, trenching and digging. Extending hoses from the truck offers the flexibility to enable excavation in hard to reach or confined spaces.
We service commercial, industrial and residential sites and have the largest range of vacuum excavation units that are up to ten times faster than our competitors.
